Cleaning and Maintenance
5.1 Routine Cleaning
- Wipe off stains or coffee marks from the machine using a clean, damp cotton cloth.
- Depending on daily use, please use the cleaning brush provided to sweep the grinder chute, dock arm area, and drip tray of any coffee grounds. We would recommend that you clean these areas weekly.
- Please regularly check the water tank inlet or water line inlet to make sure they are clean and free from blockages.
- If you need to store the machine away, please clean and dry all components thoroughly before placing it in a safe place.
- To drain all remaining water from the machine, remove the water source and use the brewer module to dispense the remaining water at room temperature (RT).
5.2 Descaling
We recommend descaling your machine every three months or after every 300 brewing cycles (whichever comes first) using dedicated descaling products designed for home coffee machines. Please avoid using vinegar or commercial cleaning products, as they may damage the machine and void the warranty.⚠️Caution:Descaling solutions can be hazardous. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and surfaces. Using inappropriate descaling agents may lead to insufficient descaling processes or damage machine components. Keep the descaling solution out of reach of children. Do not swallow or ingest the descaling solution. If you have additional questions about descaling, please contact xBloom directly.
DescalingGuide:
- Place a container with a capacity of at least 300 milliliters under the water spout and ensure the machine is on. Consider using protective measures to prevent spillage from the descaling solution.
- Add 250-300 ml of water to the water tank and mix in the descaling solution. Use approximately 80-90 ml of the solution, adjusting based on the specific guidelines provided with the descaling product.
- Insert water tank on the machine. Start the descaling feature either through the machine.
- The machine will dispense approximately 200 ml of liquid into the container.
- Wait for approximately 30 minutes or longer to allow the descaling solution to work effectively. Do not ingest the descaling solution. Avoid using the machine during the descaling process, and refrain from adding water to the water tank while descaling.
- After the waiting period, press start again to discharge the remaining liquid. Empty the container with the descaling solution.
- Rinse the water tank with clean water and refill it to the maximum line, then reattach it to the machine. Press the brewer module again to dispense water and empty the water tank completely.
The descaling process is now complete, you may now brew and enjoy delicious coffee! If descaling has helped but has not fully resolved your machine's issue, you may repeat this process as many times as needed or consider extending the time the solution remains in the machine.💡 Tip:Descale via Machine:Press the middle knob on the machine's main display to access the brewer module, then quickly press the middle knob three times to initiate the descaling process.

- Place a container under the dispensing outlet.
- Use the brewer module to dispense any remaining water in the machine at room temperature (RT) and the water inlet method as an external water source (TAP).
- Ensure the grinder is empty and slide close the grinder cover. If there are beans left, use the grinder calibration feature to dispense any remaining ground.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Dispose of any used xPods and clean the drip tray. Avoid placing heavy items on the drip tray to maintain the scale's accuracy.
5.4.2 Preparing the Machine for Use After Long-term Storage
